Our Goals are to promote and encourage our students’ growth, not only for water safety and swimming skills, but also for the love of the water that lasts a lifetime. We are committed to providing the best experience and foster a positive relationship between the water and our Students of all ages. Furthermore, our goal is to be constantly evolving our program to meet the needs of our Students so they might optimally excel. Our integrated and individualized lesson planning and coordination is unmatched and offers a level of attention to detail and focus between our Staff and Students that is unrivaled. Lastly, on an Administrative level we are committed to offering a smooth and lasting experience that is responsive, open, available, informative and cohesive to provide an atmosphere where our Staff and Student’s feel apart of the Shoreline Family.

History

Founded by Owner & Operator Stephanie Roggie in the Summer of 2019, Shoreline Swim School was created with the purpose of bringing top level Private and Semi-Private Swim Classes to the area. As a startup located at the Trumbull Marriott on 180 Hawley Lane in Trumbull Connecticut, Miss Stephanie was the sole Instructor and Administrator as she quickly sold out her first Sessions in 2019. In the year that followed, the interest in Shoreline from surrounding Communities/Families grew exponentially to warrant the growth of the company just in time for the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Although the Pandemic presented many difficulties for Small Businesses, Miss Stephanie was determined to adapt. From the Summer of 2020 to the Fall of 2020, Shoreline grew its Staff to 3 Instructors and offer 100+ spots. In the years since, from 2020 to 2024 Shoreline has grown to employ up to 8 Staff Members at a time and offer more than 150 spots to families in Connecticut. Since it’s conception, Shoreline has facilitated the learning of thousands of students, offering more than 8,400 lessons each year. Shoreline’s model and outlook has remained the same since the first day, and continues to offer the highest level swim instruction in water safety and swim development for all ages.

Shoreline Swim School operates year round with concurrent 8 Week Sessions to provide the consistency, reliability and effectiveness our Students deserve. In addition, Shoreline’s Instructors are Red Cross Lifeguard Certified and attends regular training seminars to clearly communicate Shoreline’s standards, operations and requirements for each lesson to provide a cohesive structure carried out as unit on a daily basis. It is the desire of Shoreline Swim School Administrators to communicate promptly and effectively with their Staff and Clients to ensure a respectful and seamless relationship that encourages the growth of each Student. Ultimately, the goal is for Parents & Students to feel apart of the Shoreline Family as we grow and develop together in the water.
